Kravis
Center for the Performing Arts
is one of the premier performing arts centers in the Southeast
with a growing national and international reputation. True
to the spirit in which it was created, the center’s
mission is to enhance the quality of life by presenting a
diverse schedule of national and international artist and
companies of the highest quality . The Kravis Center holds
more than 500 performance events each year, with more than
400,000 people in attendance annually. Only truly respectable
concerts, plays, ballets and operas take place here. Dreyfoos
Hall, named after the center’s Founding Chairman, Alexander
W. Dreyfoos, seats 2,193 and is the main performance venue.
The Rinker Playhouse is a black box theatre where much of
the drama is performed. The Gosman Amphitheatre allows for
outdoor entertainment and the Cohen Pavilion is used for meeting
and banquet facilities. There is free parking or valet parking
is available at most events for $10-$20.
